The Ministry of Social and Family Development has designated 2024 as the Year of Celebrating Volunteers (YCVolunteers). This is to recognise and celebrate the contributions of volunteers in the social sector and beyond. 

 

The YCVolunteers campaign aims to continue to promote a strong giving culture in Singapore, as we strengthen our social compact and build our shared future together. Beyond creating impact on those they serve, volunteers also gained personally from the experience. The impact will grow when volunteerism is more structured and we are moving beyond ad hoc efforts to sustained impact.

 

Everyone has a part to play to build a caring and inclusive society.
